    I have a bunch of students pulled from my ss or science lessons for RTI, which is not necessarily test prep but it is for my lower students. I hate that so many teachers are not able to teach these subjects, because my students love it. I think it is one of the best ways to motivate and get students excited about school. One of the few, if only, mandates that I have ever actually liked was that we had to teach at least 30 minutes of ss or science everyday. In GA my third graders are tested in all 5 subjects, but I'm not sure which ones count toward AYP.
