Have you tried putting a bag over a plant with a hole in the bag and letting the plant grow out the hole? The kids seem to think it's neat. We read the book, "The Plant That Ate Dirty Socks" (it's a series)and designed our own unique kind of plants. Then we made them. The book is a quick read and enjoyable.
