    My DH took a flat piece of wood and routed out a pencil well. the pencil lays inside the well and kids try to put two and three pencils there. he then cut a slanted line behind the well and the name tag sits in this.

    I am not at school or I would try to take a picture. No school tomorrow as it is MLK day.
