ideas for new teachers
By Michelle

Clip to ScrapBook
At my school, our "mentor" was not present in the building, which meant that she was not available for those day to day questions. I found that the questions that I needed answering were stupid ones like "where do I get ____ form" and "what do I do with ______" and so on. But, I feel that the area that I needed the biggest help in was organization and management. Being a first year teacher is so overwhelming, and having a well-greased machine for a classroom makes things go so much smoother. Perhaps some tips on record keeping, and how to keep your self and classroom organized.
