I make up a question sheet- how many siblings, pets, favorite color, music, sports etc. The students fill these out without talking to each other. I collect them and read the answers aloud . The class has to guess who the person is. The students love this, and it's a great way for them ( and me) to know each other better. I fill one of these papers out myself without them knowing it.
