I agree with your post. I thought there were some really cute and funny parts to the story. I also think that it was a very touching story. I got teary-eyed. I would never have let my students laugh at Bradley, it was situations and like Crystal said the way the author wrote the book. This is a great read aloud because all my students pulled something from it. We all have a bit of Bradley somewhere inside of us. I loved this story as did my students.
