Team Building activity
By S Pardalis

Clip to ScrapBook
One activity I tried with my grade 5 class was that they were required, in groups, to construct a tower with the material given to them. The material consisted of different types of paper and card, string, scissors, legos, glue, etc. Each group receiving the same material, were expected to collaboratively work together to build the most decorative, well structured tower. Inevitably the task extended further by children challenging themselves to make a model that stood out from the rest, therefore promoting more creative outbursts. Each group enjoyed looking and complimenting the models of others, making the activity enjoyable for all.
