Defining the Problem
By Julianne

Clip to ScrapBook
Wow! You did such a great job of defining exactly where you're struggling. That just points out how together you really are despite how you feel right now. A class is sort of like a very long train. The engine starts moving first, then the second car bumps to life, then the third, and so on until finally, many minutes later, the last car begins to move. Your class policies and procedures will slowly move into place along with your expectations, rewards and transition times. I'm so glad you added the part about your positive attitude, because I'm convinced that is the key. Sit back on Friday and give yourself a well-deserved reward. Then redesign your transitions (which are key to keeping things running smoothly) and move on to week three!
