100 day is also many 5th graders 1000 day of school... you will see some postings regarding that also. I am going to have my students find the factors of 1000 in math, work with a group and see if we can make a class list of 1000 books we've read in elementary school, maybe come up with 1000 nouns, read for 1000 seconds, and the whole grade level is going to work toward making 1000 Valentine's for those in need. If it is not your 5th graders 1000 day of school, you can just do the same thing, but make it 100 instead. :D
