You may find some books to help you at themailbox.com website. You can have your second graders write about different animals they may find in different habitats.You can research different animals using books and the computer and graph the outcome. For science doing the research and watching videos on different habitats and writing little reports and poems can also help. They can write poems as long as you help them by modeling. I hope this helps you some! I used to teach 2nd grade. Now I teach 5th grade.
