One thing to do that accomplishes a number of objectives is to play Name Bingo. Each child is given a blank Bingo card (run off on copy machine). The students wander around the room getting different children to sign in each box. When each child's card is full, they all sit down with markers and prepare to play. The teacher pulls names of class members out of a hat, if the student has that child's name they can cover that box. First to have the whole card filled is the winner. No prizes are necessary - just the fun.
