You must have a lot of money to spend. My 4th graders often "expect" something for doing the right thing. I often give rewards that require little or no money. It makes it hard to be compared to last year's teacher who "gave" them all kinds of goodies for meeting classroom expectations. "Great job" is no longer good enough. This is not how the "real" world works.
