BTSA voluntary

I am a BTSA support provider (full time) but not big on paper work and formal observations I view my job as a help---someone to talk to and know that it will be confidential. I love my job...I feel like I do make it easier on new teachers even if I am nothing more than a sounding board.--which I think is very important. We also don't have manditory meetings which other places seem to have.

But I would like to know where your program is that is voluntary...ours is too and I fight to keep it that way...but we keep getting pressure that we are the only ones that have it voluntary.

Although I see it as a cheaper way for out of state people to "clear" their credentials.
