I teach 4th. Together we set goals in different areas. They love a challenge, either collectively or individually. This year we are challenging the fifth grade to see who can get the most AR points for reading. They get bored easily, so I move around a lot and try fun things, instead of the boring teacher lecture and worksheet. This week we are going on a noun hunt throughout the school. We are also playing punctuation concentration in groups. I love this age group...they still want to learn for the most part. Good luck!!!
