I don't know that you will be able to handle it for a while. The students will be able to handle it better since they see life and death differently than adults. You need your students and time will give you strength to cope with such a terrible tragegy. I can't imagine what you are going through. In a week or so, take a couple days off, to regroup. Right now the class needs you to carry on a normal classroom, if you are able. Let your fellow teachers help with giving you breaks. Do some special things in memory of and for your sake....I'm glad the holidays are coming so you can have some time off. This will be hard for you. I am so sorry. Remember that the parents need lots of love coming from her classmates at such a sad sad time, I do know that it is important for them right now to know that their child was special and valued by her classmates. May God give you strength during this time and bless you, the classmates and the family. so sad.
