HI
I use a marble jar for homework. If it is finished you get to put a marble in the jar. If your homework isn't finished you get to stay in at recess and finish it. When it is finished you get to go outside.

When the marble jar is full we celebrate all the hard work we have done thus far this year with a junk food party. We ususally have these on Friday afternoons. Everyone brings in their favorite junk food enough for each person to have one piece or serving. We invite the principal so she can tell us how wonderful we've been doing.
My kids love it. When you're first doing this your marble jar needs to be small so that they can earn a party quickly. Once they've had one party they really want to work to earn another!
