Hi Jenn,
I know everyone wants to be prepared for the beginning of the year, but truly, the most important materials in my classroom are great books, math tools, and a few great professional resource books. Add office
supplies, organizer bins and you're set...If you can't afford to buy your read aloud books, go to the library with multiple cards (I use the cards for each member in my family, and sometimes have 100 books out!)
If you're needing worksheet type books, etc...guaranteed that someone at your GL and school has whatever you might want, just ask. Also, there are LOTs of internet sites
for those. If you'd like specifics on where to get professional titles, literature/guided reading books, or math tools and possible specifics for 'must haves', just post again or email...we're glad to help. ;-D
