Losing their attention
By Lauren

Clip to ScrapBook
I had a class like that 2 years ago. My salvation was classical music. I have a CD with piano, flute, guitar, and ensemble. It worked like a charm. When they got noisy, I turned on the music and immediately there was quiet. After awhile, the kids asked for the music. I told them it was Math music to help them with math. So then they would ask for the math music. By the way First Grade is the best. I've been teaching it for 20 years. Hang in there and best of luck.
