Spelling ideas

Hi, Lea. Sorry you didn't have much time to prepare yourself. A friend of mine ended up in the same situation. Anyway, the district or school should have some type of Spelling program set up already. You might want to get with your principal and find out what they use. When you do get the spelling words for the year, my students loved to review the words with a game. Pair them up and have the students write out the spelling words on each others backs to try and guess the word. I thought that this was a primary game at first, but the kids loved it the past couple of years. I hope this idea helps. Good Luck!
