Wow! I really feel for you. We always get stuck in situations like this where sometimes our hands are tied. I've been told before that if the parents refuse to move the child a grade level, then we must comply. I'm sure you have probably already discussed this with your principal. Has your principal tried to do anything? Is he/she getting involved in the situation? Keep us posted and let us know what happens. I would like to know for future reference in case I ever run into this type of situation. Good luck.
