I agree with the others. You probably don't want to rotate your pet. I think your students will enjoy just having it in the classroom.

Like others, I have some trouble breathing when I come into contact with the commercial cedar shavings which are in a plastic bag, such as you buy in the discount stores. I also have a reaction to the urine of the animals.

You will want to check with your administrator before investing in a classroom pet. It may be against your school's policy to have animals in school for health, or other, reasons.
