Supply Money

You guys have it really good it seems. I am a first year teacher, and have already spent at least a hundred dollars of my own money on supplies to get the room up and running. (File folders, scissors, glue, crayons, staplers, eraser, dry erase markers-we have whiteboards, lables, etc.) I won't be reimbursed for any of this. We have 6 fifth grade teachers, and each was given $25 at the end of last year to buy supplies. I wasn't hired then, and the teacher whose place I took ordered clipboards. What can I do with 25 clipboards?!? The other teachers say, if we are really lucky, we might get another $25 at Christmas for office supplies. Yipee.
