The American Girl Books also offer great stories. Boys enjoy these stories also. If you have any children in your class who have any of the dolls, they could bring them in and show the class the dress of of era along with other things used jfod daily living. It's a great series. Also the book "George Washington's Mother by Jean Fritz is also a wonderfull book. It puts a different slant on our first president. It is on a 3rd grade level. the ISBN # is 0590306677.
