I teach grade 3 in Toronto, Canada. In September each teacher receives $600 in September for supplies that we can order through the board or for items we buy ourselves and submit the receipts. Last year we were fortunate because the principal had "extra" money and gave every class another $800 to spend. We also have a field trip budget of $8 per student.
