"class pet"
By Tabitha

Clip to ScrapBook
I have a guinea pig for a class pet. I have had him for three years now. My students love him. He does have a tendenacy to nibble fingers so I tell my students not to put their fingers by his mouth. He does have a tendenacy
to stink at times but my students love to take care of him. The noise that he makes when papers a shuffled can be loud and distracting.
I took mine home a Christmas and decided not to bring him back last year. He just made to much noise for some of my studnets. I will bring him back to school again the first day of school and see how it goes. I think he is a good lesson on respoinsiblity.
My students argue over getting a chance to be the care taker of out class pet. Do some reseach first before you decide. I do recommend a guinea pig though. We all love mine!
