Calming Corner

I use a corner of the room by the window as a "calming corner." The children can use this as they need to or at times I may suggest they use it. I have art supplies, books, clay, (I am an art teacher.)or they can just sit there and look out of the window. Whatever it takes for them to get themselves together and to get back on task. It works very well!
