Hi Kathy
First of all go over each grades curriculum and see what can be integrated, especially in Science and Social Studies. This will make things much easier. Have lots of centers with activites that reinforce your district curriculum standards. Have a balance between whole group, small group, individual lessons and independent work.
Whole group activities are Calendar, Morning meeting, DOL, Science, Social Studies, Read Aloud and Themes. Small Group Activities are Reading, Writing, Math and Centers. Individual conferences in writing, reading and spelling. If you would like to see my schedule let me know and I will post it.
