Clip to ScrapBook
I have had them all frogs, snakes, rat, hamster and guinea pig. I now have a guinea pig which is probably the easiest, friendliest and cleanest. Common hamsters are stinky (there are exotic types that are not) and love to escape!! It makes for great written stories, but is a nuisance. Our guinea pig is almost odorless, very docile, loves to be petted, held, etc. He was raised from birth by a student not from a pet store which could make a difference. He walks, rarely even runs and has never attempted escape. I'm not sure why the kids named him Frisky! They love taking him home on the weekends where he eats most any fresh fruit or vegetable. The guinea pig gets my vote.
