middle school

hey i saw your message, i did not read what the others wrote to you but i teach middle school and i always wonder what they are doing in elementary school to prepare those guys for us! I do not reward kids individually, in middle school it seems like they are more prone to be a "group" and thus they are usually in trouble or in an okay status as one whole unit. get them used to having seperate folders for different subjects, using an agenda for assignments and taking responsibility!! They really like verbal praise in front of their peers even though they won't admit it!!!
