I have shared a room with a resource teacher for the past two years and we loved it! We worked as a team instead of your kids and my kids. We divided them into groups by ability and it worked great. We would each teach a reading group at the same time while our aids were working with another group of kids. We shared bulletin boards, ideas, everything. This year we are not sharing because my teammate is moving to another school. I am feeling very sad and I am actually NOT looking forward to going back to school because I think it will be lonely! I hope you like sharing as much as I did. It can be a great experience.
