First day jitters
By Jacqui

Clip to ScrapBook
Hi, My best advice is to establish routine. You have to begin school with an idea already of how you would like simple tasks followed. Ex: bathroom, questions, lunch, lining up. passing in work. Don't fluctuate day to day with a different pattern, stick to whatever routine you have established. Otherwise, the students sense you are not in command and easily swayed which will lead them to challenge you later. Hope this helps. Good Luck and remember to spend the whole first week reinforcing and modeling your expectations. It will surely help.
