I understand what you're staying (Debbie). Last year I had charts on my student's desks that had colors on them. When they were asked to change a color, they moved the clothespin accordingly. It worked, BUT BUT BUT my students were caught many times changing their colors back to a safe spot. That was difficult approaching. The students near them kept watch, but it still happened. I'll probably go with a board up front again to allow this not to happen.
