Hectic First Day!

I can relate ladies! Today was my first day also. I teach 1st grade. I had everything all planned out, my room look great, the seating arrangement was set--and I get 5 new kids that throw off my perfect day. I like to feel ready and prepared, but I wasn't ready for 5 new students. Today taught me to be ready for ANYTHING! And not to be so hung up on the "perfect plans" for the "perfect 1st day". I don't think there is such a thing.
