Yep, I tell my students that I love them, both individually and as a whole group. I often find myself saying, "I love you so much, and that's why it hurts me to know that you're not doing your homework. I want you to do the best that you can..." I think it's extremely important for our students to know that they are loved. After all, without love, what is there?
