Open House Bulletin Idea

Last year, with the help of my teaching partner, we created name cards. The students will design and decorate a card with their first name on it. Then they will need to find out something about their name from home. For example, why was the student given their specific name by their parents? Does their name have a meaning? What is their name in a different language?
You can also research their name on the internet if you have it available. The kids really enjoyed it!
