Classroom expectations & consequences
By Valerie Young

Clip to ScrapBook
Jenna-
You fail to mention what grade you teach. However, in my classroom (4th grade) I have one set of behaviors posted and another has the consequences. Each corresponds with the other (i.e., completes homework neatly and on time/receives a no homework pass)
Every action has a reaction or consequence. I prefer to list all consequences whether negative or positive. This way, students learn quickly that everything they do has a consequence; whether negative or positive!
