Clip to ScrapBook
I read Wong's book too. What I am planning to do is post an altered stop sign that I made and each color stands for a consequence which is written on a small poster next to the stop sign. Green is the goal for the day but
students can also go above and beyond for blue. Yellow is a warning, orange is a time out, and red is a trip to the office. If a student stays on green for the day they will get a smiley sticker (their smiley sheet has 50 spaces on it). They can also get smileys in other ways. They can use them to 'buy' positive consequences/priveleges in "Smiley Store" every other week. So on the other
small poster I am going to list the priveleges they can earn (computer time, lunch with the teacher, etc.). I'm going to title that poster How to Spend My Smileys. I'm titling the whole thing "Go for Green" Hope this helps.
