I agree with the discount.... I just purchased books today from Barnes and Noble...of course they were for teaching.... titles like Vocabulary Cartoons and Logic Puzzles, what else could they be for...and the sales associate
asked me if they were for teaching??? DUH!!


Anyway, have any of you begun to implement this guided reading integrated literacy program in your classrooms???? And how does it all work??? I have alrady begun to organize my aclassroom library in plastic baskets by author and genre.... but what kinds of books would you use for guided reading with small groups of kids??? This is fifth

grade....when in the book they talk about short books, what exactly are they referring to, especially, what kinds of books could they read?? ANy expertise in this area would be great!! THANKS CHRIS
