books

Clip to ScrapBook
Three ideas for you:

Your school or community library should allow you to check out quite a pile of books. I used to check out every month as we started a new theme. You could even choose books more often if you wanted.

Yard sales, friends with older children and family members may be able to provide you with inexpensive books. You can also check out library book sales if you live in a larger city.

The book clubs - Troll and Scholastic in particular - have good deals on books at your grade level. Every school had dozens of their brochures sitting around. It will cost you something, but you'll have what you choose yourself and it will be new.
