I can echo the sentiments expressed both positive and negative...if your kids are old enough, have them help you. Most parents love hearing about what's happening in class, but it is lots of work. Having done them in all different time intervals, I find that a goal of every three weeks is doable for me; with 9 week quarters, the third one isn't a newsletter at all, but a conference or open house.
