in a word documentation!

HI
I suggest you document everything this child does when ever he has an outburst. Have an evacuation plan for your class in case he begins to throw furniture or other objects. Talk to a neighboring teacher about your
plan so you can send the kids as needed. TALK TO YOUR PRINCIPAL RIGHT AWAY about policy and how far you can and can't go. Ask for suggestions, guidance ect. Heck in my district I'd make an appointment with our supt. and talk to him. He has an open door policy and I would like him on my side in this situation.

Does your room have phone or p.a. button? If button inform the office that

when ever this child is having a tantrum you will be buzzing the office and they should send help or monitor your room.

I would hope that your other parents would ban together and complain about this child to the principal and the school board etc....in my district that gets the most action! As a parent I wouldn't want my child in your room with that child...and that is sad but in today's society you never know what the child will bring to school when he's angry....guns, knives, etc...

I wish you the best of luck...I'd be nervous too! I think it's just best to be as informed as you possibly can about the processes and policies that you should and should not follow.
