I also teach 6th grade, but only language. Is your class self-contained? One thing i have learned, this is only my 2nd year, is that they are still children. Meaning nothing is really too elementary for them. I was scare at first that if I did certain things with them they would thing it was childish, but they don't! I wish I could help more. I'll try and round up some of my sites for you. But really proteacher is my favorite.
