Your advice reminds me of the book I am currently reading "Mosaic of Thought." This book emphasizes modeling to students what proficient readers do while reading. This book not only emphasizes modeling but it also shows us how to it. I think it's great! It makes a lot of sense, and it has helped me to become aware of what I do when I read. (So much that we do is so internalized that we aren't aware of and therefore, don't share with our students.) I can't wait to get my own classroom again and apply these strategies. Has anyone else read this book? What is your opinion? Please share Sincerely,
