"Cactus Hotel"

Try to get your hands on a book called "Cactus Hotel". It traces the life of saguarro cactus. Would make a neat bb and there are lots of measurement things you could do. Also, make a timeline of the happenings in the life of the cactus. "The 3 Little Javelinas" is a fractured fairy tale from the 3 Little Pigs. It has some factual info about desert life. Making dioramas are always good experience, too.
