social studies board
By Carolyn

Clip to ScrapBook
Thanks so much, everybody! I am looking forward to the new board. My problem is that I am becoming squeezed for time this year with our principal expecting us to attend computer lab three days a week. I don't want to stop teaching social studies, nor do I want the traditional "read and answer questions" approach. I would like ideas from everybody on how we can successfully integrate with other areas when we might not have the time to teach it as a separate subject. There are a lot of good historical literature units which would probably help a great deal. For those of you who have more time to teach social studies, I am sure you will find this site to be a wealth of information for activities.
