Name tags

I use laminated name tags with clear packing tape and then I tell my kids that whoever doesn't pick at the tape on their name tag will get a candy bar at the end of the year. It works wonders. Hardly no one picks at the tape or the nametag. My problem is getting the sticky residue from the nametag off the desk at the end of the year. Anyone have suggestions for that?
