but I love having the special ed. kids! They have so much to offer, and it's good for the mainstream students to learn that they all have their strengths and "intelligences,"- having them in class is a great life lesson for all. But, I realize that in my school these students come with a lot of support, and all of my students benefit from either team teaching during the inclass support periods, or from the smaller student-teacher ratio when they are pulled out for resource room services. The way I see it, it's a win-win for my class.
