Have you thought of doing some of the children's literature artists? Each time we do an author study, we discuss the illustrations and learn about the art/artists behind the books. Some possibilities: Eric Carle Chris Van Allsburg Ronald Himler Leo Lionni Barbara Cooney Steven Kellogg Arnold Lobel Russell Freedman (writer/photographer) I'd also check through an art history book to see that you've covered artists thru major time periods/styles in history. Costume design might be another avenue to pursue. Post or email if you'd like me to check my book shelves for other kid favorites. Best of luck, it sounds FUN!!! ;-D
