Number The Stars is an excellent book! You can really tie that in with teaching about the Holocaust! There are many resources on the web for this book. You shoud teach some comprehension strategies. Many children today are behind in reading. Look under the "Reading" section on this website for some good ideas. Please do more than have students read and take a test. Reading is so important.
