Hispanic Heritage

Two years ago, with my fifth graders, I did a Hispanic Heritage Wall of Fame in the hallway. Each child chose a famous Hispanic American person to research on the computer ( I made a list from all disciplines -music, medicine, inventors, etc.) and made a poster summarizing the person's accomplishments. The children enjoyed it and the whole school got a chance to learn about famous Hispanic Americans. E-mail me if you want more details.
